hi all
one of my user wants access to delete the time evalaution results
of one period, infact they had access to delete previously
itseems, but by mistake she has deleted all the cluster-with time
evaluation results—so the consultant who worked that time ,has
taken out that access
i knew that there are 2 standard programs are used for deletion–
RPUP2D10 FOR B2, RPUP2D00—FOR B1
But the problem is that the SAP HELP document states that its not
advisable to run this in production with CAUTION,so I thought
I’ll take some suggestions from you guys, before giving access
to atleast one users here in my company in production
environment.
looking desperately for some advices.
thanks

One question – why delete them? You can re-run time evaluation forced back
to a specific time which will rebuild them.
You don’t need to delete them before doing that.
As for a solution to actually delete them – I haven’t tried this in
production, but in ECC 5.0, you can actually delete the clusters via PA30.
I don’t remember seeing this in 4.6C but I may have just missed it. The
downside is that you can’t pick a period – it’s ALL the results for a
person. But it does prevent someone from accidentally deleting everyone’s
results.
You just go through PA30, go to delete the personnel number, BUT when you
get to the list of infotype records to delete, you go to the very bottom of
the list and it will show you the B1 and B2 clusters.
I personnally have only used this in our development and QA systems, not in
prod, so try it in a development system first to see if that is what you
are looking for.
Anyone who has access to delete personnel numbers would already have access
to do this.
Hope that helps

Hi,
I have used the program you mentioned to delete B2 cluster
results but in a very specific situations. The example is when
a new employee is supposed to start on a given day and ends up
starting later than expected. Sometimes they would
inadvertently run through time eval and auto quotas would be
generated. Then the start date would change and time eval would
fail on the next run. In any case, you must be very careful on
how you proceded with this program.
You can use the rpup2d00 to delete for a single period. It works.
